Confession No.1
My Confession: Or How I Became Web Designer for FLUX and Loved It.
Here's my confession. I didn't expect to be a web designer for FLUX; I didn't even think about enrolling in the production class. During Week Two of Spring term, I received an e-mail from a J-School adviser saying, "You're cleared to enroll in J475 FLUX Production." It was my professor from the previous term asking me if I'm interested in FLUX. I said I'd think about it; He apparently took it as "Yes." My mind wandered for a while, but I decided to enroll anyway, just because I love the print design. However, things didn't go as I expected. During the first class I attended, I was told that there were no print designer positions available anymore. Why should I be here then? What can I possibly do? I asked myself these questions a couple of times and dropped the class. It was a short, sweet dream.
And there was a surprise again. A few days later, I was asked to come back to the production team as Web Designer. Life is random. I accepted the offer and started working on the FLUX website. Although I can keep muttering about certain things for a few hours, I really love how it turned out. The website looks shiny, and working with many people to figure out the look of the website was really a fun experience. I hope everyone loves the website as much as I do.
